Week #4 (Part 1) Encapsulation [Nayanika Kapoor]

12th March, 2015
Nayanika Kapoor

After a great weekend thanks to Holi, we're back to semi-working!

This week we had to ponder over the Opportunity Areas we chose and think of multiple solutions! I did so, as much as I could in a span of three days!

Tuesday, 10th March, we had a presentation. The guidelines given to us by Prachi Ma'am were:

DETAILS OF TUESDAY PRESENTATION

1. We will have the group wise presentations on Tuesday as scheduled. Each group gets 10-15 min for presenting & discussing.
2. All groups will participate.
3. Students who are unable to join the presentation will contribute with their work to the group. There bit will be presented by other members.
4. The feedback / discussion on what each group is proposing can be recorded and later shared with the absentees.
5. I want professional, formal presentation.
I don't want to only listen with my ears, I want to listen with my eyes.

This is a critical stage of the process and an imp presentation thus. I will be noting marks for individual work. People who are absent will be impacted. But I cannot help as order must be maintained.

The briefing for the presentation was shared in the class. If ant clarification is needed, please feel free to ask.

ROCK IT!

For this presentation, only Kanupreet, Arushi and I were present. We got a feedback that was better than expected.

I made a Prezi while Arushi and Kanupreet showcased their problem/opportunity area through a PPT and a video.. Riona's PPT too was presented by me as she was absent..

Feedback was given by both the peers as well as Prachi Ma'am..

Example

We were told that we spoke well and the fact that we did a good field research was evident! Though I goofed up in between as I mentioned Arushi's topic to be something else while it was something else :P This was pointed out by either Eshant or Devika.. Anyhow, the overall feedback was that our research wasn't "structured". We shall be working on that!

By the end of Tuesday, we also decided upon presenting our Process Documentation in the form of a book. A PROPER BOOK FORMAT..

After Tuesday, Arushi and I didn't attend any classes as we had full day dance practices. The last two days, Thursday and Friday we had practice in Pearl Academy, Noida from 11 am to roughly 7 pm..
